Candice and Adam

At our consultation, Candice and Adam tried to tell me that they weren't photogenic. I reassured them that wouldn't be a problem. My photo sessions are very much less of "you pose here and you look here" and more of "sit next to your girl and tell me about the most embarrassing thing you did when you first started dating". Of course, there is a little prompting here and there to get things warmed up, but you might be surprised to hear that engagement sessions feel like a date in the park with a photographer as your third wheel...or 4th wheel in this case. I can't forget about their darling Schnauzer named Lilly. Is it just me, or do you imagine her having a British accent asking for two lumps of sugar in her tea? It was really important to them that this little lass was included in their pictures, and I'm so glad they brought her. I am 100% a dog person, and meeting your fur babies is a perk to being a photographer in my opinion. Plus, she makes a great backdrop to that gorgeous diamond. Adam and Candice are really good at laughing with each other and sometimes at each other, and they happen to look really good doing it. I am so looking forward to shooting their wedding. Thanks for letting me third wheel it with you guys!
