Bekah and Dylan
Bekah and Dylan's wedding is one I had been looking forward to all year, ever since the first time we met up at Starbucks and I learned that this couple is a wedding photographer/videographer dynamic duo. It was so much fun preparing for their creative vision and making it happen on camera. When it came to the wedding day, I was so impressed with all of the hard work they put into making it happen. The ceremony and reception were held at Bekah's parents house. Bekah and her family put a lot of work into preening and pruning the backyard. They erected a white tent, lined the ceremony with beautiful ferns, and her mother, a florist, designed a vibrant flower arbor for the couple to get married under. Not only that, but Bekah took so much care in situating the ceremony location to ensure the best lighting. All the lovely china tea cups and plates were furnished by Bekah. She had been collecting them from thrift stores and garage sales for years, and they came together perfectly to create a floralesque-backyard wedding. Clearly the care and detail that both Bekah and Dylan attended to came off beautifully.
I remember vividly some very poignant moments of their wedding day. Between Dylan and Bekah's vows and foot-washing ceremony, Bekah's mom reading a child hood story as her toast, or the countless glances, whispers and kisses shared by the bride and groom, there was hardly a moment when I wasn't violently snapping photos, but don't take my word for it. Why don't you just scroll through to see for yourself. Bekah and Dylan, it was an absolute treat and honor to work with you on your huge day. We wish you all of life's happiness.
